The Flintstones is a cartoonbased on a typical Stone age family. It was the 1st cartoon shownat prime time for adults and thus caught huge fan base. It showed the ironies of American families and situations that any family may sometimes face in lives. The story line involves Fred Flintstone and his wife Wilma Flintstone living in Bedrock city . They have a daughter named Pebbles Flintstone and a pet dinosaur called Dino. Fred's best friend and neighbor is Barney Rubble who lives with his wife Betty Ruble and son Bamm-Bamm Rubble. The funny situations and adventures that Fred gets himself into makes people rolling on the floor laughing. An all time favourite cartoon which was later made into the Flintstones movie as well for the big screen.
